Each photograph comes for a word or feeling that has been expressed by a person who has experienced breast cancer.
Here we explore how uncertain and 'alone' the disease can make you feel.
Words from our model:
"This photo really speaks to me on a personal level. When we first discussed the theme, I had the idea of loneliness going on, and we were going to capture this at a busy city centre railway station. Subsequent permission issues pushed us out into the city centre itself and we ended up by the cathedral. Another strong theme for me personally would be around faith, and this resulting shot, while not what we’d originally envisaged, really sums it up for me. I look out of place, alone among the people bustling by on their routine, day-to-day stuff. Last year I was stuck for several months, pretty much housebound, not even getting dressed some days and this reminds me of those times. My faith has been a strong comfort and is now ever-present in my life, and this photo shows the cathedral, and implicitly God himself, behind and around me as I go through my journey."
Thank you so much Vicki for being our hardy model. This shoot didn't go to plan and it was truly an emotional evening.

Since photographing this portrait I am sad to say that Vicky peacefully gained her wings on 11th January 2017. Tim and their girls have a challenging path ahead and for all of those of you who pray, I know you will say a word
to your God to offer them peace and support in the time ahead.
